Saying that something is the best is always delicate.
In Flamenco, even more so.
Because Flamenco is not measured in numbers or rankings. It is measured on the skin, in emotion, in what happens inside when art is true. That is why at KELIPÉ we do not speak of being the best Flamenco show in Malaga through words, but through something far more honest: the real experience of those who have sat in front of our stage.
People who walked in with curiosity.
And walked out with something they did not expect.
Flamenco experienced up close
There are many places where you can see Flamenco in Malaga.
But not all of them are experienced in the same way.
At KELIPÉ, the performance happens just a few metres away. There is no emotional distance between artists and audience. You hear the breathing, feel the heel striking the wood, and perceive the real dialogue between dance and guitar.
That closeness completely transforms the experience.
You are not “watching” Flamenco.
You are living it.
And that is something many people highlight after coming here.
“It was an intimate place where we could feel and live the passion and emotion transmitted by the artists. It was an unforgettable experience.”
— Daniela Yepes
Artists who transmit truth, not formulas
One of the pillars of KELIPÉ is that those on stage are not playing a role. They are artists who live Flamenco every day, both inside and outside the theatre.
Susana La Yedra, dancer and founder of KELIPÉ, transmits a Flamenco that is born from the body and from lived experience. There is no artifice. There is presence.
Beside her, Azukita on guitar supports, dialogues and provokes from a deep knowledge of Flamenco and a highly personal sensitivity.
It is no coincidence that many reviews speak of emotion, authenticity, of something that goes beyond.
“I am still overwhelmed by the art that runs through Susana’s veins and the great Azukita. It was wonderful and unforgettable to see them on stage.”
— Cristina Goñi
Exclusive music and performance: only at KELIPÉ
The music performed at KELIPÉ is exclusive to the project.
It is not a repertoire that travels from venue to venue, nor a show repeated mechanically.
Every musical structure, every dialogue between guitar and dance, has been created for this space and for this artistic team. This generates a unique identity that is recognisable from the very first chord.
A form of Flamenco that cannot be seen anywhere else.
A show that exists only here.
And this uniqueness is something the audience perceives, even when it is their first contact with Flamenco.
“This was our first live Flamenco show and we thought it was wonderful.”
— Daniela Yepes
The value of what is authentic
Many people who come to KELIPÉ are looking for something very specific, even if they cannot always put a name to it: truth.
Truth in the art.
> Truth in emotion.
> Truth in what is transmitted.
“A wonderful and authentic experience. You can feel the artists’ love for Flamenco.”
— Mariam Soukouna
That love cannot be forced. It is felt.
And when it is felt, Flamenco leaves its mark.
A carefully designed space to experience Flamenco
The KELIPÉ theatre is not a large-scale venue. And it does not aim to be.
It is designed so that each person can experience the performance with attention, comfort and closeness.
The atmosphere, the personal treatment and the care for detail are all part of the experience.
“My partner and I went and had a very pleasant evening. Both the service and the show are wonderful.”
— Gemma García
Because seeing Flamenco is also about how you are made to feel before, during and after the performance.
For those who love Flamenco… and for those discovering it
Some people arrive already in love with Flamenco.
Others discover it for the first time.
Both find something in common at KELIPÉ: the feeling of being in front of something real.
“If you are Flamenco lovers like us, you immediately notice whether they are professionals or not, and they certainly are.”
— Gemma García
And those who did not know Flamenco before often leave with an emotion that is hard to explain.
A show that stays with you
Not all experiences are remembered in the same way.
Some are enjoyed and forgotten.
Others stay.
“A true wonder. A very authentic show. I loved it and will definitely return.”
— Eva Márquez
When many different people coincide in that feeling, perhaps there is no need to say it is the best Flamenco show in Malaga. Perhaps it is enough to listen to them.

When Flamenco is truth
We do not know whether KELIPÉ is the best Flamenco show in Malaga.
That is for each person who walks through our door to decide.
What we do know is that here, Flamenco is made with respect, emotion and truth.
And when that happens, art speaks for itself.
See you at KELIPÉ.
Where Flamenco is not explained.
It is felt.
